Does anyone have a holistic nutritionist certification? Would love to talk to someone who has gotten one and what they’re doing with their certification.
I'm 34 and a Manager 2. My wife and I live with two kids on Long Island. My Uncle is a Princeton Review GMAT instructor and has offered to tutor me for free. Is an MBA even worth my time? (cont.)
Which advanced non-MBA degrees are the most common at your firm? If recruited from a grad program with a non-MBA degree, did you start at the same level, salary, compensation track as an MBA recruit?
Going to visit/tour for a part-time MBA program on Saturday. What are the most important questions to ask? Main ones for me are access to on campus recruiting/career services and ability to transfer
Anyone else just sick of the PowerPoint work we do in consulting? I’m a C at ACN with a top 10 mba and I’m updating PPT contents and formats. No requirements work, no process design, no critical thinking...just updating slides for my team until they say it’s good.
Can anyone please refer or connect me to a recruiter. 1yr experience as a business consultant (contract ) MBA, MSC. Looking for Business Analyst or consulting roles.
Is the AWS cloud practitioner cert meaningful to get or is it just another basic cert that’s useless?
Hello fishes, anyone here preparing for GMAT or GRE while working full time? How's market for MBA at this time? Please share your thoughts

After nearly 20 years in the military serving in T&E and HR roles, I’m considering moving on and have been conducting lots of research into consulting. BS, MA, and SPHR cert - no MBA. I’m looking for suggestions or advise about transitioning. DC Metro area is likely landing spot.
What were all yalls post-MBA salaries? What do you think the salary floor should be to make it worthwhile? HCOL city
CMT vs CAIA? I currently work in sales for an asset manager and have an MBA. Would like a designation, one that’s applicable to asset management and has some status/recognition. Appreciate any thoughts or insights. (Also dont want to take CFA)
Curious if any Kellogg students can give the integration of E&W MBA students in campus life? I’m exploring E&W vs FT, but would want to plug into FR clubs for networking and am curious on any overlap
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
Hi All. Currently an SA going on Manager with MBA and 5 yoe, promo this year is pretty set. Have since moved from PwC to another B4. Have an offer from an early stage tech startup in a non tech role and would appreciate support evaluating it. Offer is for - 160k base. 50k equity. 4 year vest. Overall, startup seems like it is in a great position to do well. Thoughts on the offer? Is it fair? When negotiating, what levers and component of comp is best to target? Thanks!
Have you ever negotiated your travel schedule? N00b to being in the road and PPD wants me to do a 10hr west to east coast flight plus a few hours driving to get to client site.
I just barely started at my firm and got staffed on a project which requires travel. My firm only allows me to expense hotels on a personal card, everything else goes on the corporate Amex. I’ve had a venture one card for 2 years now but am thinking about getting the chase sapphire reserve. Kind of lost here - any advice?
WWYD? I have an offer for the same job I currently do, but at a different B4 and (hopefully) with better leadership. Still interviewing and was told today that my candidacy was very strong for the position I really want at company 2, but they won't be able to make a decision for at least 2 weeks. I have to provide a decision for the first offer soon and have stretched out the timeline as much as possible. Take the gamble? Go for the job I really want vs. anything to get out of a bad situation
Only after 5 weeks I am going to join TCS. In my offer letter it is mentioned I am selected at "TCS Kolkata"; but till now I have not received any information/details/call related to my project yet. As selected in a drive panel so hence no clue about the roles and responsibilities. Infact not receiving any proper response from contact points (I understand there may be some protocol that client/project details will not be revealed before joining). Is there anyway I could get atleast some details?

Would love some advice—I’ve spent the last 2 yrs in sr level role doing policy work I enjoy. early on I discovered I was srsly underpaid & had to fight to fix it. Then leadership changed & things were good, until recently they dangled a promotion only to tell me it wouldn’t come with a raise for at least 6 mons. Then a diff agency asked me to apply for a role that pays a lot more but the work sounds so boring. Do I follow the money or do I keep doing work I like while feeling undervalued?
Chase reserve - about to complete an year. Don't want to pay next year's annual fee. What are my options - convert to Chase preferred/ freedom etc.? Is there a way to keep the value of the points?
Hi folks - we're a small company just under 100 people almost evenly split between employees and consultants across North America and APAC. We're looking to implement a new HR system that we can start to leverage for onboarding, comp & benefits, payroll (pay slips/tax), reporting capabilities etc. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance! :)
In search of advice here: I have a hybrid background in design and management. I have an opportunity to join a team as a designer and am also getting traction on an application for account management. I feel comfortable and excited doing both. How can I decide on which avenue to take? Which is better for long term growth and $$? Both options are roughly same salary. One is fully WFH one is temp WFH with 2-3day in office next spring.
Hey Big 4, has PWC, EY, and Deloitte committed to a "no travel until Jan 1" comment yet?
Can someone tell me who Deloitte uses for daycare reimbursement? I left the firm and no longer have access but I have money in there that I haven’t had a chance to submit a reimbursement request for
760 GMAT, 3.76 GPA in engineering undergrad (rank 30-40 range). White male LGBT. 4 years Big 4 Tech Consulting, sponsored for MBA. Solid essays/EC but probably nothing remarkably standout. Targeting Kellogg Ross Fuqua. Thoughts on my chances?
Dear Partners - Excuse if already being asked (I spent reasonable effort to re-use through 'search') I'm a 3rd year M pursuing an SM promo. I believe I'm doing well in my current role, and also believe I could do more. Could you help me with these Qs : 1. What can I do to ensure I'm an EFFECTIVE M3 2. What does a EFFICIENT SM1/SM2 look like for you? 3. At this stage I am in, what can I do to make my SM promo a REASONABLE "shoo in"? I'm working with key PPMDs on my promotion readiness. Thx!
