Just got told by Infosys recruiter that they want to make me an offer but I need to wait until they have a client lined up. Is this normal? I suspect they would rather hire a H1B than me.

Firm cut 10% pay for associates which isn't bad at all. As a junior, I am so thankful to even have this job but all other associates think this isnt fair as they have been working same hrs as before🙄
