Is saas sales stressful?
I need likes 😅 TIA 🙏🏼
Hi Fishies! (Is that what we are? I’m going with it)
I just came across a Google Research and Insights role that got me SUPER excited and I was about to apply when I had the idea of seeing if anyone would be willing to give me a referral. I understand (and respect) that most of you Googlers on here feel that a referral is only useful if you know the person but I would be happy to jump on the phone to give you some info about me. It would mean so much! 4 YOE at a major audio steaming service

I honestly still dress for work just to put myself in that headspace. Kind of dorky but it kicks me into gear
Depending on how long you’re there for, try to set up a designated “work space” to sufficiently quarantine (no pun intended) yourself from home-related distractions
I WFH full time. My suggestions are wake up at your usual time (maybe earlier), get dressed like you’re heading to the office, throw Bloomberg on as soon as you wake up, and schedule breaks during the day to do something else so you don’t go stir crazy. It’s also good to reach out to colleagues regularly throughout the day so you’re still connected to the office. (Cabin fever is real WFH full time)
Yes agree on waking up your normal time or else it's easy to feel unproductive. I take advantage of the fact that I can make my meals. And give yourself breaks! Lol sometimes I'll have a mini dance party in between or do a workout
Give yourself designated breaks (1 hour lunch because you ll prob want to clean up after yourself / dishes - personal email, texts) eg 12-1 pm and at 3:30-4 pm to avoid any distractions and focus them in those moments. You are winning time in commute so you need to reward yourself to stay productive.
I’ve found myself doing more work at home than in the office. I’ve done the work from beach, vacation etc....the break tips are dead on. I would also recommend a small work out to get you going in the morning.
Very helpful tips. I need these. I’m in the same boat and my morning alarm keeps sliding later and later. I‘m plenty productive but end up working nonstop through the evening and staying in my pj’s.
