Upper management's direction is to put together the most aggressive deadlines we can. If we think a project will take 16 months, make the plan for 10 months then there's a chance we may launch in 13 months.

I understand that time to market is important in consumer product goods, but being constantly behind schedule and rushing everything is terrible for the team's morale.

I’ve been prepping myself to ask for a raise. My annual review (I’ve been at the company just about a year) is happening by the end of March. Should I bring up my request now or should I ask at the review itself? Since I haven’t been at the company long, I have no idea if there’s buckets, or if they will give decent raises this year due to inflation. My request will mostly be based my workload being switched to a much heavier area 2 months after hire (almost 2x the work).

Any advice from someone who has had to retest several times to pass? I keep failing even on practice tests despite giving it my all. Trying not to be defeated, but also very committed to passing. What did you do that helped tip you over the edge?
