I was given the location Mumbai in offer letter and my desired location is hyderabad. My doj is one week away and I got a call from an account manager recently and was told that the account operates from multiple locations and hyderabad is one among them. He told me that he would allocate me hyderabad location once I join as they do not have any location constraint. Is it possible to allocate the desired location like that even if there is a diff location in offer letter? Please help.

Recently started my own firm and interested in others thoughts. Are there resources out there for practical advice or is it only something that comes with experience? For example, I can take let's say a 601A client and use the resources available to me to learn how to do it. But if a client asks me is it better to marry my fiance in her home country, bring her here on a K-1 or have her visit on a B-2, that's not learned from a book or webinar. Hey all, I am currently job hunting and am wondering whether anyone can get me a referral for a product analyst, scrum master, or an agile “products” role in general. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Question for some of the older members on here. What advice do you have for an early 30’s consultant planning the next steps in their career and starting a family? Background in ChemE with 10 yoe, 3 in consulting and 7 in F500 before (mostly strategy, PM and some software). Thinking about a switch into tech and trying to find that work/life balance even if it means taking extra trainings or going back to school. My wife went to a top 10 MBA and also has a pretty demanding job. Any advice?
