Hello Everyone, I have received offer and right now I’m going through the background check. I have heard that the BC takes time. I have already informed my current employer regarding the job offer and they have given me counter offer to stay, still paying 30k less than what new company is offering. I can see on LinkedIn that they are still hiring multiple of developer for same job position. I fear I will have to compete with other and some of us will end up fired after probation period.

I have 5+ years (going to be 6 next month)

I was working as a Tech lead at Paytm, at a base of 40.

I tried my level best to negotiate, rejected the proposed amount on our first call with offer team, gave them a counter offer with a base of 70, then also I wasn't able to win the negotiation, at the end they gave me an offer with almost zero increment.

Had an interview today and the assistant asked to shift it up 30 min (no big deal.) I asked if the meeting link would still work and she said of course don’t worry… it didn’t work.
Luckily my interviewer found my cell phone and got a new invite out. We only talked for 20 min because she had a hard stop and I spoke for maybe 5 min.
This is round 2 and I feel like they’re selling their company rather than learning about me.

Is it worth it to leave a Deloitte Analyst role (just hit 1 year at Deloitte) for an Analyst role at Levi’s digital product team (building out an AI tool) for a 25% pay bump?

I’m not sure if it’s too early to leave Deloitte/consulting for a lateral move, but I don’t enjoy the Deloitte culture/feel like I have no impact. I originally applied for a Senior Analyst role at Levi’s though and they bumped it down to Analyst bc of YOE.
