Just had a friend lose her job due to COVID 19. If anyone has any leads for graphic designer positions that are remote or in metro Detroit please let me know.

My credit score recently got impacted because I missed a payment by accident. D How much does it impact my apartment application given the current covid times where landlords in NYC are looking for renters more actively? My score changed from 730 to 650 :(

Would love some advice - during Covid, I transitioned to a smaller firm that had some great things to offer but has almost zero experience dealing with attorney maternity leave. They agreed to create a policy during the hiring process, and the administrator did come talk to me at some point after my hire to say they had settled on a policy and some paid leave, which is great, but they never verified in writing and the paid period was pretty short (maybe a month or 6 weeks). How do I ask to be fully remote? I’m sure this has been asked before; just want to get in front of it now and not later when everyone else is begging not to go back into the office. Can I cite my mental health as a reason? I work at a P**licis agency.

Illness advice needed - I have IBS which has gotten worse in the past year. WFH has been a blessing, sometimes I’ll need to make it to a bathroom within 30s-1m or have an accident. I’m not sure if I can manage working in person with how my condition has worsened. Q1: Does anyone live with IBS and how do you manage? Q2: Should I turn my full-attention to looking for a remote-only job?

Don’t know if it’s appropriate. So I’m WFH in a flat, new neighbours just moved in and whilst I’m having meetings in the morning, I hear neighbours enjoying their time DAILY (screaming, wall vibrations you know... ). It’s really distracting and embarrassing when I’m working and if my team hears it from their end. Never had this happening before. What to do? Advice please?

Why do some threads call a 24 year old making 155k a humble brag, where in every salary thread by 27 most people are well over 200k? It seems by 5YOE you should be close to 200k if you’re on track?

Hi folks! I need some advice with regards to my career path. I did my MBA in finance in 2020. I had my career path figured out but due to the pandemic I couldn't start my job in the finance role that I was placed in. From January I have been working as a research analyst in a research company. What are the possible options for me going forward. Are there any courses for strategic consultancy which I could pursue to enhance my CV and have a successful career in this field? Need some guidance.
