I’m interviewing at two great tech companies and am in the last rounds of interviews at both, meeting with the execs. Both companies have expressed that they want to hire me regardless if the execs agree and are willing to find a place for me. Both have great company culture and benefits, and both are willing to meet my salary requirements. I wish I could work at both of them! If you were in this position, what other factors, besides the obvious would help you make a choice between the two?

Talking with attorneys this week, I've been informed of multiple recruiting calls pitching an opportunity at a certain NY quant fund (I'd rather not mention by name as this is in no way their fault, and they don't deserve to be tarnished). In speaking with our contacts at the quant, I can say unequivocally that this position does not exist.

While the 'bait and switch" is not a new tactic, please be wary.

I’m a 3rd year in biglaw, worked out of the NYC office before wfh. Went on vaca to Miami recently and absolutely loved it... thinking of moving there. My firm has an office in Miami too. Few Qs: 1) are big firms typically ok with office transfers? (I heard I have a good rep with the seniors and partners). 2) is it easy to just change your address in workday to FL so that income taxes are not deducted?
