Best way to stall an upcoming industry (via recruiter) job offer when two interviews are scheduled in the next 2 weeks that may be a better fit?

How do y’all cope with getting those awful automated rejection emails? So I’ve applied to several jobs and have had decent luck getting passed screening and into the real interview process. But the emails with the generic “we’ve reviewed your application and decided to move forward with other candidates” still stings.

I am currently a PwC senior associate working in IFS (L&D) and am interviewing for a senior advisory learning services role at KPMG. If I were offered the job, I assume there would be a significant pay increase due to moving from an internal role to a client facing one. But what are the other pros/cons of jumping firms/moving from one LoS to another?

If an internal transfer is off the table, what do you guys think is the easiest way to relocate from NYC to London? Can't seem to get much traction applying for roles through conventional methods

One of my friends is struggling to find job as a UX designer. I think she has good handson knowledge and has done freelance projects as well. She is a certified UX DESIGNER from renowned university in USA.

She has built her portfolio from scratch and not using wix or any other website. But whenever she applies to a job, it does not lead her to interview.

I had my technical round scheduled with Capgemini last week. This week I cleared the L1 interview round and HR discussion. Before releasing the offer letter they asked me to submit my documents and sent a link to appear for an AMCAT exam (English grammer and email writting) as part of hiring process . My question is based on AMCAT score is there a possibility that Capgemini would revoke my offer ? Is it an elimination round as they mentioned this a part of Capgemini hiring process?

For those with this experience, all other things equal, as a percent (for example, 200% harder), how much harder would you say it is to find a new job 2 months after being unemployed vs. finding a job while still at the company you will be laid off from in a couple months?
