Has anyone used an Airbnb experience photographer while on a vacation. I know the experience will vary greatly, but generally speaking, how does it work? Is it like when you go to some of these studios and they hold your pictures hostage till you fork over a bunch of $$? The ones I’ve viewed said they give you X amount of digital pics within 2 days. Are you expected to tip the photographer and if so, how much?

Opinion: a law firm offering protected vacations or a vacation stipend to encourage people to actually log off would go farther than another special bonus.

Recently promoted to XO within my company for the Reserves. How do you all balance military duty, military schools, consulting work and vacation? For reference, they're looking at sending me to two classes before the end of June, and a few other schools before December. I'm exhausted and feel bad for even asking for PTO seeing I am gone so much for army work. Thank you in advance.

I’m a 3rd year Associate at a fairly large injury firm. In my 2nd year my individual fees were $550k, this year I’ll eclipse $800k and next year I have $1.5mm or more lined up. (That’s just cases I signed/closed myself)
I’m the sole associate in the office, and also handle most of the training/marketing/networking in my office. My salary isn’t 6 figures and no performance incentive. At what point is it fair to ask/is it unrealistic or unreasonable to ask for some small performance incentive?

Should I start hiding my graduation year on my resume?

I saw advice that having my grad year may be working against my favor due to perceived lack of experience. I am 6years post undergrad and have jumped jobs after each year. With each jump, I always immediately move into a higher position so much that I’m always significantly younger than the next person in the same role on my team.

I’m interviewing again for fun and the vague feedback I get is “lack of experience /deep expertise”.

Anyone know of big law firms in Dallas where you can be M&A, make market/bonus by billing in the 1900-2000 hour range every year and not get fired. To early to decide if I want to shoot for partner or go in house. At this point, just don’t want to bill 2000-2400 hours a year to get a garbage bonus (5%). Double points if the culture isn’t god-awful. Does such a place exist?
