Does anyone have strong rationale for why it seem like big brands hardly ever include trademark or register symbols on their logo anymore? When I was coming up as a designer trademarking the logo was a very important step in branding.

Hi, I am basically the only corporate attorney in a small firm. I am a corporate generalist so I have broad experience (corporate governance, independent k agreements, stock/asset purchases, other general counsel work for clients). I deal with small acquisitions so not considered really m&a as the ones big law doe (my due diligence is minimal in most).
