Even when the company wants to release the resource...as I am ready to serve the notice...but organization wants to release me early...and asking for buyout.. I have job offer from two of the big4s. One is PWC SDC Kolkata and another is KPMG Global.

KPMG is offering 1.5 lakhs extra in fixed pay and 1.5 lakhs as joining bonus.

However in PWC SDC they have shift allowance of 700/day(not mentioned in offer letter).

I am bit confused amongst two. Please share your thoughts and guide me to choose the right one considering Work life Balance, Career growth, Exposure etc.

Producers: myself and other freelance editor friends have a question we’re struggling with. Why do people so often reach out and ask us for holds with no information what the project is? A lot of us won’t give 1st holds without making sure it’s something we are interested in so this seems like a lose-lose for all of us. I do understand if there’s an NDA situation involved but often I get literally no details and am just told things like ‘we have a project coming up’. Any insight? Thank you!
