Agree on the what people think thing. I’ve noticed that before you go out on leave and when you’re out it feels like a big deal, but then like 2 weeks after you return it’s like it never really happened to the team and has very little impact to the overall perception of you. It’s something I doubt you’ll look back on and think “going out on mat leave that early really impacted how those around me perceived me and therefore my career progression.”

Agree with SA1. Was out for 5 months - used vacation and my leave , I come back and it’s like nothing has happened in the 5 months
I also took majority of my leave in April through June which is slow due to year end

You’d have to talk to HR about when maternity benefits come into play. If you have to be an employee for 1 year before you are eligible, I personally would wait 3 months before trying to ensure I qualified for the paid time off. But if that is not a requirement/not a deal breaker, then you shouldn’t delay just because you are worried about what people think

However if I do get lucky and pregnant. Would I be judge/ not taken serious since I would be at the firm a year or less?

Also if I get pregnant let’s say fall, can I still use my maternity leave in the late spring. EY has a 1 yr policy before maternity leave.

Hi all,

This is regarding Evolent Health Group's action. The role was of IT Auditor. I qualified 2 rounds and job role was actually high demanding. During HR round, I told them about expectations.
After 4 days someone reached out to me on phone saying that job hiring has been put on hold.
They'll call me next year.

I mean, why time was wasted.

Can I do anything in this situation?

Have any nursing moms at Deloitte pumped while at DU? Does anyone know how hard (or easy?) it will be to get access to a freezer to store ice packs and freeze milk before my flight home?

For exclusively on demand breastfeeding moms, when do you feed your baby overnight? What cues do you look for? Mine is 15 weeks and never cries/screams for food overnight. I’ll hear him grunt/whale tail for a while and then pick him up to feed (usually post a 6 hour long stretch).
