As someone who is a tech consultant but would love to get more into project management, are there any companies that great places to start on my project management career?
Thoughts on big 4 boomerangs?
A1-A2 tax, 6% raise and 3% VC. Thoughts?
Just got a permanent desk at the client site. I sit under an extremely loud vent (equivalent to being on plane by engine) and it’s exhausting trying to filter the noise out. Noise cancelling...
Has anyone jumped from Big 4 Advisory to Tier 1 Consulting firms (e.g. MBB). Was the jump at the same, higher or lower level?
So proud to be at PwC. Support for our black community, no lay-off, still have bonus, still have promotion.
What is everyone’s opinion of the sales and marketing practices at MBB consulting firms? If I’m interested in growth strategy, opening up new channels, etc. are these teams a good route, or do they not stack up well against consultancies that specifically focus on sales and marketing?
What would be a good starting salary for an Operational Risk & Resiliency Manager at Accenture in a HCOL city? Thanks.
It used to be so easy to do research on hospitals. Now you have to sift through all the Covid stuff first
Is it more advantageous to burn through PTO (18 days) and get paid regular salary, or take a lump-sum payment of the 18 days? Unsure of tax rate of PTO (supplemental income) vs regular salary tax
I only plan on staying in consulting for about 2 more years then off for an MBA. Would it be more worth it to take a level and pay raise at a different big4 moving to senior level rather than going to associate/analyst level at MBB? These are my two choices at the moment. I want to position myself best for post MBA jobs in industry. Salary will def be lower at MBB compared to the senior level at big4 so not sure if it’s worth the trade off in experience.
What would be a fair negotiated salary for a current SC with 5 YOE to make the move to Slalom in the DMV area? 130-140k?
Know this has been posted before, but has anybody joined Jabian Consulting recently? Going through their interview process now and wondering what the work is like
I've heard that fasting one day a week is a form of intermittent fasting. Does anyone follow that and any benefits? Thanks
Why is the burnout/always working culture in public accounting so accepted? Why don’t these firms hire more people to staff the clients so we can have normal hours as well? How have accountants collectively not pushed back for 40 hour weeks year round? It seems like now is the time because public accounting is being exposed as you can see everyone leaving for industry for this reason.
Any idea what FB recruiters use for initial calls? Zoom, Teams, WebEx (god forbid), or just old school phone call?
