Just left my job and have a month before I start a new one. Should I get COBRA? Or should I bet that I won’t go to hospital? I haven’t used my insurance even once in the last 5 years...

Get coverage and life insurance, I procrastinated and now I’m ineligible. Was as healthy as one can be, had a minor procedure after a sports injury and now have major heart and lung issues. Things can turn very fast, you just don’t know when

COBRA isn't a bad option. There are also gap policies available designed for exactly this. That's what I did between B-school and my new job. Pretty reasonable prices, and they only cover major injuries and illnesses. No preventive care or anything like that.

Get at least minimal gap coverage. Be responsible.

True! I would recommend taking one. Let everything be in control, it takes just a split second for things to go wrong.

I received a strong offer from another company. I'm certain Deloitte will not be able to match it. How does Deloitte manage this when you give your two weeks notice? Does Deloitte give you two weeks to transition? For how long do they cover your health insurance? Any other thoughts and advice are welcome.

CEO is too old can't stand remote work? What to do?

So I've got a new job offer from a great company and pay is good.

Problem is the CEO is like 60 years old and said can't stand the remote work culture.

I've been trying to get a new job to leave my current job because of the toxic workplace even though I've been working remotely for the past 2 years.

I don't understand why I have to go to the office if I can do the same job from home?

Why is that? Should I accept this job offer or not?
