Currently I am a senior consultant, with a total experience of 8 years and being well versed in Db and ETL tool, with responsibilities:
1. To lead a team of 3 in a project
2. To lead as Program Manager for a project ( 2 team members )
3. To work within any project as Db expert
4. To support BI team for data-extraction from EDW
5. Design, developed and maintained EDW
6. Design, developed & maintained a rating tool
7. Done a few POCs on Big Data, Spark-Scala

I plan on giving my two week notice on 9/26. I some how managed to build a real estate portfolio which nets close to my salary. It has been a struggle consulting and managing both. Even though I am a consistent high-performer, I don’t feel like I am doing justice to my clients and giving it my all at work. Investors are lined up and anxious to do deals with me. How do I go about quitting? What are something’s I need to do before quitting? When are bonuses? Appreciate any and all advices!

Evaluating an exit into Amazon as L6 product manager (TC: $225K) after 1 year at BCG. I want to work in tech/fintech long term. Questions:
1) Is the work life balance better at Amazon, than BCG? Currently I'm averaging 70 hours a week. More than that, the pace is quite insane. Deliverables every couple of hours.

Can someone in BigLaw explain to me what BigLaw partners actually do? I work at a mid-size firm that is big for my market and often end up on the opposite side of a deal with BigLaw lawyers. Every single time there is a mid-level associate running the deal with the partner nowhere in sight. Is this normal? As a 3rd year associate I definitely was not ready to take the lead on $100M+ transactions - how does this work with BigLaw? What do the partners do? Genuinely curious!
