I question whether this will ever actually be made. Great idea and it’s a beautiful car but I question if it ever gets produced en masse

like

I have a reservation too. I emailed them telling them to add AEB (if my wife would ever drive it, she’d want the safety features she’s used to). They said they weren’t planning on it but would look into it. If it ends up on the production car, you can thank me.

like

They just posted the Final Mile video showing it’s completed 1million miles of testing.

You can have a factory but scaling production is whole other animal. Look at Rivian, all the funding in the world, huge factory, there is a but a trickle of real world vehicles rolling off those lines. Production level auto manufacturing is one of the hardest things in the world to do.

Totally understand they have a factory and a team, but many have been in that same spot and failed spectacularly. This seems like a vanity project for a chemical company to be honest, it’s cool no doubt, but just don’t believe they will actually ship vehicles in mass

Yeah I guess price is gonna be starting in the 60s at min from what I read. I know the pricing in the UK is $62 USD (48k pounds)

Yeah I saw that - I just worry about how quickly the options are going to add up given that the 48k is for a stripped down two seat commercial variant sort of like how you can buy the “hard top” commercial spec defender for cheap but it’s impossible to get one for under 80k. They said 50k for the defender for the longest time until they finally rolled out the option packages

I forgot about that… yeah. I’m prolly going to go to the show and love it and walk away depressed cuz I can’t afford it ha.

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.

Hi all,

I recently joined a Big4 org. For more than a month now, I am only attending project calls where mostly, I am a silent listener as I am one who jumped in between ongoing work.

Consequently, I am filling the bench code in timesheets.

Is it normal?
Or
Do I need to take steps on my own so that someone add me to the project.

Can anyone suggest?

Thanks!

Question about paying off a car vs. financing - I'm 23 and have no debt (hence why I'm a little afraid of taking it on). I thought the best move would be to save up cash and pay off in full, so I have about $30K saved up but now I'm reading that maybe it would be better to put down a down payment and finance the car instead. Thoughts?

Don’t know if this is the right bowl but I’ll give it a shot. Does it make sense to buy a boat? I’m 23, currently renting in the DC area. I can easily afford it but don’t have a SUV or anything to haul it. It would strictly stay in the water. I want one really bad and just miss being home In the summers and out on the boat with my friends. I don’t want to make an impulse decision but man I also want my own without derailing my retirement, eventual house down payment, etc.
