Congratulations!!! Get yourself a foot rest/leg rest because sitting to long can cause your ankles to swell ….

Sounds odd but after WFH for so long, I got a small fish tank - SO. RELAXING!

Standing desk mat. I got one from autonomous. It is will encourage you to use the desk in standing position, and is good for your feet too.

I'm grounded cause my husband traveled. Under a new order, returning travelers must quarantine 10 days and they should isolate from others in the household, even wear masks at home. Husband is about to return from a work trip, & he's not on board. So to stay "clean" and able to go out myself, I plan to sleep in my home office for HIS quarantine, with my air purifier on, and mask up if we are in the same room. Ridiculously inconvenient, but I do not feel it's ethical to risk infecting others.

I started having wrist pain in the fall and it has flared up a lot recently. My PCP and a hand surgeon both said they had no idea what it was, since the location of pain was inconsistent. folks with wrist injuries: how have you coped? I feel lost without a diagnosis. I stretch and I take breaks and I have ergonomic equipment, and still I am in pain. Any advice is welcome, as are any sympathies or commiserations

Hi mamas, how do you handle a sick child when you cannot take the days off? My son is 18 months, just started daycare and he’s been sick a lot. I just changed job, so I don’t have enough PTO to take, but I’m able to WFH. Husband cannot work from home or take time off since he has a big deadline at work right now. How do you handle a sick child but also get the work done? We don’t have any families live close by neither.

Has anyone joined a team that is all full time remote, with people in different countries and time zones? How has the onboarding process been? Have you been able to form a connection with your team? Anyone that has an autonomyous white standing desk; does it look good quality in person? The pictures online are hard to tell and often times look like the cheap $20 foldable white tables that you get from Walmart. Do they give off that vibe in person? Thanks!

Looking at making a move from a top 20 city to PNW farm style living. Work from home permanently and live peacefully. I'd be close enough to SEA that I'd be able to make it work if I had to (ie if remote ops reversed course) Anyone thinking similar or already done so? Also, has anyone sold their house to an institutional buyer? Obviously, you may get less cash, but it will also take longer to sell, so you are paying holding costs, etc and taking on more market risk.

Not bragging or showing off, but our household TC is £225k excluding bonuses. Somehow we manage to save £6k a month after paying out mortgage & bills and then a further £2k in corporate pension schemes. We invest our savings but the feeling of putting away £8k each month feels great. I thought when I'd get to this stage I'd have more desires to spend the money but there is nothing I can honestly think of right now that I'd love to buy. I didn't even spend a penny during the black Friday sales
