My partner is an Occupational Therapist and she was laid off in March when NYC closed schools and therefore her clinic. Initially she claimed unemployment but they moved to tele-therapy so she’s been earning an hourly rate. However she’s struggling as they are consistently not been paying her the correct amount and with no explanation. She had an employment contract to end of Aug with a 3 month notice period that they did not give to her. Could she possibly force them to pay out her contract?

Physician Assistant salaries in the Chicago Area? I’ve practiced at an AMC for 5.5 years and make around 116k salary. Outpatient surgical sub specialty, but the same salary “formula” as my previous role in urgent care in the same system. Another AMC offered me 124k 9 months ago for a similar role - which I turned down due to some red flags during interviews. Recently got a 10k retention bonus when I voiced my intent to leave but still feel underpaid as I’m literally keeping my practice afloat.
