Just now hearing about EgyptAir. They're saying it was likely an act of terrorism. I'm so sick and tired of terrorists. People can't fly in peace, can't go to airports in peace. It's so disgusting!

I'm so sick of this 'peaceful Muslims' argument. Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean they haven't done it. Do a little research––they have done it, and in large numbers.

I am so sick of this as well. I love all religions but I think it's time now that peaceful Muslims should take some step to fight against this radical ideology rising within their own religion. Just saying terrorist are not muslims is not a good justification anymore because these assholes are doing these horrifying acts in name of Islam. Again, No hard feelings towards any religion but it's time to take some strong action

I agree with D2. If Christians/the rest of the population in America can speak up against the westboro baptist church (not that what they do is the same as blowing yourself up, but similar argument of terrorizing the rest of the population in the name of religion), then peaceful Muslims -aka the majority of the world-can try to put a stop to the radicalization that is going on in their communities.

I'm not going to just not respond when someone says something wrong about a giant class of people (especially when it contributes to a really shitty culture regarding them in this country). Justice and fairness are always worth arguing about, even on a stupid anonymous Internet forum.

I apologize if i hurt anyone but I was trying to make a very simple point. These people are doing these things in the name of religion which is followed by BILLIONS of people. I am just saying that it's time for 99.9% of those peaceful people to take some action. Two people reading the same book - One becomes peaceful and one becomes radical. It is the responsibility of that peaceful person to tackle that radicalism instead of saying Hey I am peaceful.

And what did the "Peaceful Muslims" ever do wrong that they are obliged to "do a lot more" in response to the actions of these terrorists? You are claiming that a population that is overwhelmingly the most negatively impacted by these terrorist acts, take responsibility for them. Do you comprehend that? You all are some self-centered folk who clearly lack education on this topic. It's no wonder a racist, sexist liar is about to become the President thanks to your mentalities and uneducated opinions.

P1, thanks for your judgement and enlightened opinion. Having lived in the Middle East, I have more experience and education on this topic than you will ever be exposed to so I think j know what I'm talking about. Why do they have the responsibility? Bc it's their community and in a civilized world, you make sure your community functions right. That includes trying to prevent as much radicalization as possible, which happens at the local community level. But what do I know, I'm just a self centered trump supporter who doesn't know anything

D1, this is exactly what you get... A bunch of victims to the political agenda like D2 and D3 who develop hate towards a population who are the real victims of international crime and murder in the Middle East every damn day. And my point is that they *are* doing it. Please see the sources cited above. Muslims don't consider terrorists real Muslims, and they're ones dying at terrorists' hands. The statement "peaceful Muslims are doing nothing" is just literally false.
