Book recommendations for new executives?
I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

Nope - just transfer the money from your bank account to the Roth IRA using the Fidelity option up top to “TRANSFER”. As you click through, you should see a radio button pop up for 2019 and another for 2020 to let you choose.

Nope. Once it's in the IRA you can buy sell trade etc. whenever you want to.

It will ask you which year you are making the contribution for. Choose 2019
But for this year the deadline is 7/15, same as the fed tax deadline
Wait... you can just transfer the money all at once? It doesn’t have to come out of each paycheck and eventually add up? Oh man - I need some assistance.

This is a Roth IRA, not a 401k
Fidelity is on our restricted list. Did you check tracking and trading first?

OP means Fidelity as a retirement provider. Fidelity is also a private company so you can’t buy stock.
