Just ordered these Jimmy Choo 100s for 50% off for my Indian wedding next year, and hope to wear them several times a year for more formal events. I only wear wedges really, but should these be pretty comfortable? Anything I should do before wearing them (taking them to cobbler etc? My first time buying such expensive shoes 😆

Jimmy Choos tend to be comfy. You’ll be fine in these. Go to cobbler if you want to preserve the soles, but that’s up to you. I never cared to preserve the soles of my Jimmy’s.

former wardrobe stylist here - wear them around the house for like 15-30 minutes a day the month leading up to the wedding to break them in! and if you are going to be in the grass at all, there are little clear circular plastic caps you can buy for stilettos that prevent sinking. best wishes!

If your wedding is outdoors on grass you should wear wedges or it will sink in the grass walking to the alter. Indian weddings are long - From person experience, half way through I wore wedges because my feet started to hurt. Have your wedges handy at all times. (my maid of honor carried it around for me and I am forever grateful).

How much leeway do you have when negotiating start dates? I would like to start in Jan since I save most of my PTO for the holidays. If I start in Nov/Dec I either won’t be able to take it or will start in a hole. Plus new job offers WAY less PTO (VP thought it was 10 days to start vs my current 25, but am currently waiting for formal offer from HR).
