Just read that nonprofit workers are looking up HUD income limits in their city to negotiate higher salaries. I think that's pretty smart, what do you think?

What's the correlation? Just curious, I like to learn random things.

Is the idea that a lot of nonprofit workers are barely making a living wage? I know that was true for my daughter and her team working on the marketing team for United Way in Los Angeles. Most the girls on the marketing team had to work 2 jobs. Meanwhile the executive team at United Way was taking home 200-300k. Appalling!

How would that work?

I've heard the same thing from a co-worker. Can you tell us how it works? I'm also curious.

It gives you a $ amount of the income needed to live in your particular city. We’ve had a 5% hike in inflation and wages need to support that.

Here is my town. Low income here is $77, 200. 🤪

But HUD doesn’t set income limits for housing providers… not sure what the nexus is here. That would be an employer/budget issue

Perhaps they should all be called 'Following Partners'.
