This is great! I’ll definitely ask. Thank you!
I would ask them what were the qualifications that you met and didn't meet?
Thanks for clarifying, I appreciate it :) will definitely ask!
Ask about openings for similar / related teams and whether you can get fast-tracked as a candidate there
Makes sense - thank you both for your suggestions!
No large company is going to provide feedback. I feel like they just put that to be nice…
It's maybe not the norm but I've gotten pretty good feedback from a few.
Any feedback from the interviewers?
Thanks for your suggestion!
It’s ok OP. You would crack it in the next go. Sending good thoughts and positivity towards you.
Thank you for your well wishes :)
Ask if they have ever placed a candidate there and what do they think the company saw In that candidate.
I’ve never been able to get feedback from a followup email. I don’t even bother at this point and just move on
I just interviewed for a job today. And I'm nervous because I don't think I clicked with the hiring manager. She just got on and started asking her questions. Wasn't reciprocating the same enthusiasm I was giving. Didn't feel like I had a chance. Did my best though. Spent days researching the company and the product and where they have opportunities 😟😣😔😔
Don’t forget that you’re interviewing the hiring manager as well… it sounds like you would not have a good working experience there…
Ask what's missing for me from candidates that moved on
agree with the others + any experience gaps you could address
Thanks for the great suggestion! Is the experience gap question an opportunity for them to pull you back into the candidate pool?
Ask what skills they look in for the role you interviewed
Are there any other positions that you feel might be a better fit?
there are several steps you can take, but most won't necessarily educate you. but they can increase the likelihood you are considered for another role for this company. hit me up on linkedin if i can be of further help. https://www.linkedin.com/in/alanjstein/
I'd say very low likelihood of getting actionable feedback. There are other ways to get such feedback through mock interviews and other methods. If I can be of help, reach out to me on LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/in/alanjstein/
