Just received an offer from IBM as a sales representative for their Z systems. Comp is great and it seems like a good team. Not too sure about the industry outlook on selling mainframe systems. I'd like to remain within cloud technical sales. If anyone has any info on their products and IBM Z in the industry any advice would be highly appreciated!

Received offer from Amazon with email subject saying "your offer from Amazon" and congratulating me with salary breakup excel sheet with joining date in it. It's been more than 15 days, I didn't recieve anything from Amazon either link to Amazon website with actual offer or offer attachment. How long it will take for them to issue the signed Offer letter ?

I have 2 years of experience as Reactjs frontend developer in TCS. Recently I got my annual compensation, where I got 2% hike. Which is very less compared to previous year, i.e 10%. I got ratings which was same as previous year. Even if I ask this to HR, does it make any changes. What should I do, relieve from the company and search for better opportunities ?

I’m looking to get a new job an a recruiter is putting me forward for a role at a series b startup. He’s now come back to me and said the company want to know a detailed breakdown of my current compensation including base pay, bonus %, what option plan scheme I have, benefits and pension. I’ve never been asked for this level of info before. Should I share?

Last night, I got a nastygram from a client who basically wanted to forego due diligence in a major buyout we’re helping him with. “Stop requesting documents and just draft me my docs.” But we literally don’t know who owns what right now, terrible corporate records. This morning, the partner told me he’ll probably fire this client, big pat on the back.

Met with a prospect last week who wanted to buy only socially responsible companies. I asked if his main goal was to retire or invest. You can either let me run the investments or find another FA.

Been living with my boyfriend for a year now and the things that I thought were just part of the learning curve when we first moved in are still things that bother me.
