Hi All,
I have 7 years of experience in total in SAP Integration technology and I have been offered C2 manager position with Capgemini with a package of 30.5 LPA.
Is it good to join? Can I still contribute technically at C2 role? Or would it be pure managerial role? Also please let me know how much variable pay would be paid at this role? I have around 2.8L variable per year as a part of the package.
Any pointers will be highly appreciated Capgemini

Which is a better product role to exit to tech industry + for career progression? I will move to Austin, TX end of this year where I want to join a tech company (in product analytics, payments, ecommerce)

Need a little context here. It would be more helpful to know your current comp and YoE. This would help determine whether 15% more is actually a fair wage.
195 isn’t bad on its face. TC is also kind of tough to assess (base/bonus/equity split matters). If you can negotiate higher I’d obviously do that - you probably won’t see a raise for at least a year if you jump, so compare that against your expected increase at your current role.
Bigger considerations are the role you’re leaving and the role you’re jumping to. How do they fit in with your goals, which offers better security in a downturn, etc.
Increase % doesn’t tell the whole story without YOE and current comp. If you’re currently very well compensated you wouldn’t expect much of a bump.
It's not a huge bump. Always negotiate!
