Help! I'm a Sped teacher (ELA inclusion) that comes home to a High Functioning Autistic 9 yr old with ADHD and a slew of sensory issues that has sworn off soap 🤢. I've made visual check list for bathroom processes, bought timers, tried different bars and body washeds with net sponges, towels and even invested in a pricey showerhead with multiple settings. Unpopular opinion: 2,000 hours is way too high of a benchmark to be eligible for a bonus. Unless like 300+ non-billable hours count towards it (maybe half of that be pro bono hours and the other half be diversity, recruiting, etc), 2000 is way too much.

He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Someone in my firms bowl just wrote about needing to pass a drug test. Out of 40 replies mine was the only one to say, ‘Get the help you need’ ... we use substances (pick your poison) to mask feelings and emotions. They all recommended ways to treat the symptom (request different engagement, stall it out, fake urine, etc). An issue we had at my org was not counting data for those that chose not to identify gender or race. So a lot of responses were thrown out!
Agree that using only survey responses for diversity could falsify/ make it seem like there is more than there is!
It makes sense to use "X% of headcount identify as... " vs "X% of respondants identify as..."
This response is purely from a statistical point of view. It is suggested that you use all the staff as this would give a more accurate view of the organization because if you use only those who responded this could bias your results to those individuals who self identified.
