I have a offer from Quebec, Canada as a Senior Frontend Developer(Angular) with yearly base salary of 100k CAD plus 14k CAD as Equity.

They are offering relocation package for both me and my spouse (she can apply for open work permit there).

I will be having a restricted work permit.

My Current CTC in India is 16 LPA.

Also they are asking me to join remotely till my work permit comes.

Should I go ahead or wait for the work permit ? Is the offer enough to sustain there ?

Hey y’all - I have a large amount (think $20K +) of credit card debt. I recently finished grad school and have enough to pay it all off, but a lot of my money is in stocks, mutual funds, etfs, etc.

Should I just liquidate and pay down the CC debt ASAP? Should I consolidate the CC debt into another loan? Curious how folks have thought about the right balance of debt vs investment.

I’ve tried to save on everything possible but my family commitments make me feel I will never be able to retire - I make 95k a year and started at 82 base and 14k sign on in 2019. From 2019-2020 I had to help a family memes out of debt (approximately 30k). I’m planning to build out a set of wealth management tools and would love to get some feedback. When planning for retirement, how would you prioritize the following (and is there anything else you’d consider)
1) early retirement - minimizing the age required to get just enough wealth/ savings to retire (I.e., your target wealth at death is zero)
2) inheritance - maximizing the value of your wealth at the time of your deaths

Leisure travel is out of my budget, but I have been able to get a large number of travel credit card points to from referring friends after making a Facebook post. That feels like a once and done opportunity. Does anyone here use credit cards to get significant enough points to travel with? Do you have tips on how you sustain the flow of points?
