Firstly congratulations!! I wouldn’t be worried at all. The only thing I would check is if they will pay maternity leave if you’ve been there less than a year.
Worried about...?
Worried about her career stability, I presume.
It’s easy to worry and I would worry too h the thing is we shouldn’t. We need more people to be rockstars pregnant, just married, engaged whatever to help break the stigma and help make things better for young women who want to work. Frankly in the current economy most need to work!
Good luck to you. Don’t worry too much. I had someone just start at my co and let people know a month later they were pregnant. Just let people know you’re going to keep working and help with any transition for time off with new baby.

Worried about benefits for sure. Ours won’t kick in until you’ve been with us a year.
This happened to me. Was very much upfront and they staffed me on internal projects before I went on leave.
I would receive emails about my utilization and had to explain over and over to people in leadership the issue and they very much understood.
Didn't receive a bonus, just the standard cost of living raise which I thought was fair.
Happened to me with my first child. I found out after they made me the offer and was upfront because I was hospitalized for a bit before joining. I refused to travel by air and tried to be local as much as possible. Spoke with leadership and they were very understanding. Did not get the full 5months maternity leave but the minimum 3 months helped a lot. You’ll be fine! Baby steps 😊
