Deloitte Digital Just requesting insights preferably from Deloitte Digital folks or Deloitte in general. This is in Canada though.
Had my partner interview 2 weeks ago & I think it went pretty well. Been radio silence since then. Emailed the recruiter twice (once each week) but did not hear back.
Just wondering if this is normal? Should I wait & hope or just move on to looking for other roles. Thanks.

In Canada as well - recruiting can take a long time - I would still give it some time, but don’t stop looking for roles if you want to move on from your current spot. Business priorities could change.

Had a team match call before hiring committee and the Hiring manager said he'd let the recruiter know by the next day. Recruiter came back and said we won't know for another week cuz there's more candidates to review. Does this mean I probably won't be matched with that team?

Any tips on making cold calls better when someone seems unenthused? Just had a very awkward informational call that felt like I was interviewing someone, even though they're the one building a team. It was as if they weren't at all excited by their role or vision. They're a very senior PM too, so enthusiasm was the one thing I kind of expected no matter what 😬
(or maybe they just dismissed my background out the gate and didn't really want to talk to me... but then why take the call at all?)

Hello, I am trying to prep for my Amazon interview for a BI engineer position. I am trying to come up with SQL and Python questions that the hiring manager could potentially ask me and I was wondering if any advisors or recruiters on Fishbowl could suggest on topic that I need to focus on.

Also, if there is any Amazon employee's or recruiters that I connect and get some advices would be a tremendous help.

Is it the norm for companies people interview for, even those who bring you in in person for an almost 4-hour interview with several members of the team, to fully ghost you afterward, even after a follow up? I find it extremely disrespectful. You go in knowing that the law of the market means you may not get the job, but you do invest time to interview, shouldn’t basic decency guarantee you at least a formulaic “thank you but we did not retain your candidacy” type of follow up?

Hi Fishes,
I have 8yrs experience in CYBERSECURITY and my current CTC is 16LPA how much can I expect in my next switch ?

I accepted an offer from Morgan Stanley in mid-October. Currently in the background check process for them but 3 years ago I was arrested for something that was dismissed by a judge & not reportable to FINRA. Obviously when they ran my background check this came up and I was questioned by MS HR. I provided them everything they asked for a week ago but I have still not heard anything about a start date or if they'll rescind the offer. Has anyone experienced this? Seems like their process is taking longer.

If we are serious about cutting emissions and fighting climate change, can we hold our office offsites closer to our home offices? I am not suggesting we change anything about client travel - just stop flying for offsites
