Hello fish what will be the in hand salary..?
Hi fishes,
I interviewed with Siemens Energy for SAP ABAP position on 21st Jan. The interview went on for about an hour and in the end, the interviewer asked my expected ctc and wanted assurance if I won't negotiate on Siemens offer with some other company as i am currently serving notice period and join Siemens if provided an offer.
Till now , the HR team has not reached out to me for salary discussions and my LWD is 7th Feb. Can i expect a call or i got rejected ?Siemens
Good lord, how’d he survive that?

Huh? A CD should have more than 6 years experience.
This is a naive comment. On large accounts you can have teams with DECADES of experience. They are valued for their creative rather than leadership. It’s not all about the “ladder”. BTW, they are probably paid better than your CD.
6 years is pretty short to be a cd. Who is this wunderkind and is he the next David droga?
I once saw a job listing in 2012 that wanted someone with 15 years of social media experience. The internet was just barely used in 1997 let alone a whiff of social media. Idiots
6 years makes you mid-level at best.
Is your CD self-employed by their own company? 😂
Anyone else notice it’s always men that pull off being a CD in some absurdly short amount of time?
So tired of the thought that time = title. All that matters when it comes to a title is how good you are at your job. You don’t deserve anything just because you’ve worked for x amount of time
Six years?
The Doogie Howser of creative directors, I presume?
Can you give me his or her name so I can poach them immediately?
You’re right CD4. Definitely shouldn’t be “news” but before that there were zero female CDs in boulder. And none of the ladies in that article were under 30 or short on years of experience. Its unfortunate they were turned into a thinly veiled publicity stunt right before the 3% conference. @CD2 I’m not saying every male CD got there solely bc they are a man - all I’m saying is I’ve met plenty of men under the age of 30 that are CDs even an ECD at age 31 but I’ve yet to see that kind of eyebrow-raising rapid promotion with a female team.
Nowadays there are so many layers that people with 2 years of experience are considered “senior”.
Your CD became CD too fast. You’re fine. Worry about yourself. Compare yourself to yourself. Carry on.
Lots of people get over-promoted these days. Maybe after one lightning-in-a-bottle awards win or new biz/pitch success. Usually, from my experience, those successes aren’t easily repeated and these people just stew resentment around the dept. because they hadn’t “earned it.” Especially if they’re d-bags about it. One hit does not make a leader, IMO. Takes years to learn what kind of CD/leader you want to or can be. But everyone’s definition of “earning it” is different, I guess.
@CPB My partner and I are a lady team and we have definitely noticed this. I know of very few women who were/are ACDs before they were 30 but I've known a 24 year old dude ACD 🙄
"creative team" could be a CD level team, ay?
ECD1: Being CDs at a young age just means they were juniors and mid levels at even younger ages.
CW1... talk to us in another 10 yrs, you’ll be tired of something totally different
@vp I had a job interview for digital in 2007, where the CD wanted someone with 10 years of experience in digital agencies. As a midweight. People are cray.
@ACD3 it's not about the years. CD is not an experience thing like "Senior Copywriter". It's a talent / responsibility thing.
@OP Congrats on finding a supervisor you admire & respect that much. Do what you can to keep him, but even more importantly, do everything you can to learn from his natural talents
