EY 🐠: does your health or dental plan cover invisalign? If not, have you managed to get discounts elsewhere?
Have you ever accepted a role that was not your first choice, and then after a month into the role, the one you really wanted opens up and they ask if your still interested? Did you stay or jump ship?
Did someone really ask if there were gonna be layoffs in a town hall? Y'all better put some respeck on their name.
Anyone at LEK willing to chat? Looking at applying but would love to hear from someone beforehand.
Anyone in Deloittes TMC group that can share their thoughts on the practice (ie number of people, thoughts on the culture, travel requirements, is it growing?) Thinking about switching over
Started a new job in Jan and just as I got project work the pandemic hit. Feeling extremely overwhelmed and as if I have no help since we are all working remote now. Any suggestions or feedback on how to improve my situation? the other consultant on my project is sometimes helpful, when it’s convenient for them but I feel really annoying and as if I need my hand held since it’s my first project. Any suggestions or feedback would be helpful
Everyone is different. Different circumstances, etc. I get it. At 30 how much do you/did you have in 401k and Savings? Do you/did you own a home?
In light of all discussions on FB, it seems to me that individuals at our firm have been removed out of EY beyond PIP related issues. To help the community brace itself, please provide facts on your Utilization, level, leads, YoE at EY, and network. My experience seems that the ones let go, had weak network.
2nd yr associate, but 1st year doing litigation (med mal defense). I know it’s pretty common to get time cut, especially with ins clients, but I’m getting progressively worse. Everything seems to take me way too long whether it’s motions, discovery, depo summaries, etc. i don’t get to interact with the other associates at our firm (diff dept, diff floor, covid) so i have no idea if this is normal or i should be concerned? how do you get faster w/o quality of your work suffering? Help!! 😂
Does anyone know of any good resources on learning how to trade stocks/options? My salary is not good and I really need some extra income
as a junior art director how can i find a job in another city? specifically looking at the west coast - i feel like it’s hard to position myself as a possible candidate even though i have some good talent. New Yorkers: I was recently laid off and just went though the hell that is “everything unemployment” related. I wrote a cheat sheet on all I learned (it’s hell) to hopefully spare future victims.
I think my pilot is like an aggressive Uber-driver - he totally just cut off some other ones, heading for the front of the queue at LGA
Rejected after five rounds of interviews, all of them included cases. Previous feedback was all "impressive". Now it's suddenly "you don't have the right skills". Last interviewer explicitly said his case was a new ask given to him by his manager and that he needed help from my answers. Frustrated regarding how much time I spent for this role. Should have realized sooner there was something wrong given several of their cases sounded so specific and related to their own projects.
