Depends on what country you’re from. You can check the status on USCIS’s website. I expect the processing times to be updated/potentially delayed with the volume of applications submitted last month. It may take a little bit for USCIS to update processing times on their website

D2 talks abt Marriage based GC. But if you have an employment based application, the situation is slightly different. You’ve posted in another bowl and I have responded to your Q. If you don’t have an EAD, then quitting your job and remaining unemployed on an H1 for more than the grace period will put you out of status. Jeopardizing your future immigration The only time you can take a break from working is once you have the EAD. Even then, whenever the USCIS does get to adjudicating your 485 (including the interview step), you will need to show proof of active employment or an employment letter. Same if they send you an RFE during processing
I filed one in February. Still waiting...
I got mine received 80 days ago. Got my ead and ap, but no invitation for biometrics...
Following. I heard it takes up to 4 months for EAD/AP card.
Did you get a receipt notice? Once you get a receipt notice are you basically good to stay in the US until it's all processed (even if it takes a while)?
Yes, I believe you would be able to stay in the US legally and not fall out of status so long as your marriage based green card application is not denied. The only concerns are that (1) you are not allowed to work until you receive your work permit; (2) your H1b would expire within two months; and (3) it may take up to 6 months and a half - or more - to obtain the work permit. So make sure you have enough savings that you are willing to burn if you go this route
