thoughts on VeeFriends NFT? stable? going up?
Egc coin is up 86%
Txn fees are getting way too high. Realized this when moving roughly $200 of BTC the other day. Txn fee was roughly $40. IMO crypto’s purpose is to function as a digital currency to challenge broken/corrupt fiat currency systems. If I cannot readily transfer and pay with it, why should I buy “digital gold” when I can just buy the real thing instead? Moving tens of thousands of dollars in BCH by contrast cost me pennies. Also, this opens up lower income markets for BCH that are prohibited from sending small dollar amounts with BTC due to high fees.
It’s such a BITCH coin!!
Transactions id's or you're just trying to pump and dump.
Can you elaborate as to why you think BCH is more representative of bitcoin's true intended purpose
With that kind of money at stake, I wish you did some research before buying BCH, it’s a terrible coin.
Slalom - correct, that’s how you can know that I’m being genuine here. Just expressing my views since I haven’t seen so much discussion on BCH in here. I think it is a much more important conversation than people posting their ICO of the day. Happy to here other views of course.
SC1 - clearly I’ve done more than you if all you can contribute is calling it a shit coin. Please explain how you can make such a claim
Booz Allen 1 - that would be totally fine, but I worry that BTC will not contribute much in terms of usability that will not be feasible with BCH. What are the advantages/use cases of BTC over BCH? Honestly interested to know, and would be fine if someone could logically convince me of some.
Really interesting thread, thanks OP for sparking this conversation. Although I cannot add value as I am not deeply versed in either, I would like to encourage people's point of view to learn on this from y'all. Many thanks
I feel the logic behind bch is sound, and with that I don't see any real advantage of btc over bch from a performance and transactional standpoint. I can see btc becoming a store of value since so many have skin in the btc game for almost 10 yrs now. I don't see all individual folks dumping all their btc, they'll stick to btc so long as it continues to maintain (or increase) value. Now if all trade exchanges and ecommerce trades were to no longer accept btc and instead take bch, then I could see holders considering a mass dumping of their btc.
Spot on Booz Allen. Thanks to you and D2 for the feedback and wishing you and others much success in bringing crypto to the masses/making some nice returns on the way
I also hear you on the exchanges point. I was actually concerned that my BTC would tank if/when that happens, and decided to make the switch into BCH after its debut on Coinbase since I’d now assume that BCH markets on big exchanges are not far off. More to lose than to be gained from BTC unless BCH fully gets wiped off the map
One last compelling point I’ve read is that the majority of the world lives on $2 per day. Try sending $2 or a fraction of it using BTC. BCH is still practical for txns of these sizes.
And was holding my BTC for the last year. Not taking it lightly and feel bad for all the drama with BCH but I can’t deny the logic behind it
What kind of transactions are you making that cost this much? I move money from exchange to exchange (coinbase to Gemini and vice versus) for no fees
Do you feel that btc will totally disappear and bch will replace it in time? Meaning that all established transactional relationships for commerce/trade will move to bch and all exchanges will eventually trade against bch instead of btc? Do you feel that both can coexist, one for transactions (bch) and the other as store of value (btc)?
EY1 no offense to OP, but he’s a nobody, no one on fishbowl can pump and dump any coin without outside news
Here are my views and why I hate BCH:
1. Just increasing the block size to 8mb will not solve the Bitcoins scalability issue.
2. Roger Ver, Calvin Ayre are Criminals and Wright is a fake satoshi: Weite claims to be a fake satoshi and Calvin ayre is was a most wanted for money laundering tru gambling. The price of BCH is controlled by these whales and there are claims that they influenced the bitcoin blockchain by creating empty blocks and driving the confirmation time high.
3. Now Roger Ver is brain washing ppl by saying Lightning Network the death blow to BCH is centralized in fact BCH is the most centralized coin.
I agree to BTCs huge confirmation time but that doesn’t make BCH the alternative.
