I have HCL offer for Pune. I've to go to Magarpatta office on day 1. Should I consider Magarpatta office as my work location from where I have to work ? Or this is only for reporting purpose and later they will ask me to work from some other location in Pune? Little confused on this because there are many HCL offices in Pune and Magarpatta is near to my home. HCL Technologies

Congrats! What a ride
You lasted a long time. I bought at 34 and started selling at 68. Sold everything at 300. That stock would have made me a millionaire had I held onto everything. But still made a handsome profit. Can’t complain.
A good friend in high school was obsessed with Tesla and after being driven around in his Tesla model S and never hearing the end of how genius Elon musk was, I finally decided to buy in 2013.
20 shares. So not life changing but still a nice sum! The question is what’s the “next TSLA”? I want to put like 10% of my net worth in a promising, but risky company. I’ve been looking at FSLY (very impressed with their potential). Anybody have any suggestions?
I’m long on NVTA and SPCE
Yeah. Ummm, 510 shares since 2014 here. Average cost $280. Not selling till 2030. Ill be back to this post in a decade. Let's pray im not still at pwc 🤣😂
If somebody handed me $600k (the approximate after tax gains) tomorrow there’s no way I would put it all into TSLA
How much did you have?
You should’ve waited just a wee bit more.
I will revisit this message after the split
OP, I would have set a trailing stop and let it run.
I bought in the low 200s and sold in the 800s. Can’t believe it took you a 10% run up on the stock split to sell. There were literally hundreds of chances to make a similar logical analysis that it’s insane and overpriced

I bought it under $500 in the crash and sold at $1000. Was happy to bail then.
I almost put a straddle on when I sold out, but thought there was no way it would move another 200 points in ether direction in less than 90 days...
I sold some today after the intense $2000 surge. Crazy....
Dude you made a good decision - it’s SUPER easy for people here to have said today or 6 days ago to hold/you should have held. If tsla tanked, these same people would have said ‘you should have gotten out’ lol
how many stocks? or i say stock ? lol
Reading a couple responses here is tempting me to sell mine too. Question, when would a company start paying dividends? And would you have kept it if it’s divided stock?
In 1960s, Airlines were amazing industry and internet companies in 1990s. Over valuation is fine to an extent but it’s just ballooned to extent where Tesla has to be growing crazy levels for a long long time time to even justify a fraction of it.
At the end, depends on risk appetite.
What’s next?!
I bought it at $37 in 2013 and sold it at $370 after the “funding secured” tweet. #ragrets
Don’t. Sell it if you have. It’s just not sustainable.
Is it worth buying it now at 2k? I never bought it and regret it now

Hehehehe
Turns out I should have held on for another week lol. We’ve seen this type of irrational exuberance before and we all know how it ends...

Kevin O’Leary was on CNBC talking about Tesla and he said he’s selling part of the position when it gets over 5% of his holdings. Of course he would have made a lot more money keeping the whole position, but he can’t allow that much risk on one stock.
Given than most of us don’t have positions that allow scaling down on a smooth fashion, I say take your profits and feel good about yourself.
Eventually we’ll hear stories about people who bought in a lost 30, 50, 80% on a pull back. Maybe...
