There are a few brand responses to the pandemic that seem a bit tone-deaf. Then, there are some that seem to be genuine efforts at helping. Anyone have examples of brands doing good for humanity?
Any recommendations for something to get rid of aphids and white fly on my miniature roses? I was using neem oil before and it seemed to control them but now that I’ve moved closer to the water the number of little white bugs is wayyyy out of control!! Any tips will be super appreciated, thank you!

“Tone policing is defined as "a conversational tactic that dismisses the ideas being communicated when they are perceived to be delivered in an angry, frustrated, sad, fearful, or otherwise emotionally charged manner." Managers striving to create a workplace based on equity and inclusion must understand how tone policing silences members of marginalized groups and allows discrimination to persist.” https://www-businessinsider-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.businessinsider.com/how-to-identify-and-help-stop-tone-policing-in-workplace-2020-8?amp

Got hit up by a recruiter at MH VCCP (maytayzik hoffer) thoughts on the agency? I’ve heard mixed reviews, more on the unfavorable side, so trying to sniff it out.
Been looking for an L&D position remotely and not having any luck. Had an interview with Cash app and I felt the hiring manager was intimidated because I have been doing HR-L&D for 8 years and I know my stuff. And he just got into the dept. 6 months prior. Anyone have any openings? Experience in LMS,CMS, compliance etc
I’m not really happy where I work. I have an MBA with over 6 years of experience in banking, capital markets, consulting and currently in a manager role. I’m open to staying in the banking and wealth management industry, but really interested in getting my foot in the door of consulting and technology industries. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Just want to be in an environment where there is a great culture with opportunities to grow. Wish I could tag every company
I am done with managerial round in Salesforce, how much time it will take to get back from the company whether I selected or not.

Hi all! First : shout out to the folks who sold the super bowl clients! Question for all. What tools are you using for biz dev? For finding clients specifically. We are a video production house so our needs may be different but we want to grow direct to client work as well. I know of winmo, agency access and agency source. Any other online tools you are using? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I'm trying to get into real estate investing. Some of the books I've read have talked about buying a multi unit property and utilizing investors to get the necessary capital. Does anyone have experience in getting investors? How do you identify investors who may be interested? Are there any sites where you can invest in or post investment opportunities?
Thank you in advance.
Anyone buying back into gme? 💎 🙌
Is stock market surging tomorrow?
Given the consulting lifestyle we are used to, how much will we need to per month/year to survive?
Forget the 4% and 25 year rule, just a number per month/year? $10k per month? $15k?
New job that does not have a 401k match. Pro/Con of contributing to a 401k vs an IRA? Thinking an IRA will allow me to make more aggressive decisions.
I’ll call in tomorrow, but does anyone know - I accidentally transferred $ into my Roth but am over the income limit (wasn’t last year due to grad school so forgot to update the automatic transfer). Since the money hasn’t been invested, can I just transfer it back to my checking and to the Ira I’ll use for backdoor Roth? Or is there a tax implication even though there are no gains/money is still in cash
Currently pre-paying extra on my mortgage to pay it off faster. House won’t be paid off for 13 years. Mortgage rate is 2.25%. Debating taking the extra payment and putting it in the market. Already maxing out other savings areas. Thoughts?
Considering opening up Charles Schwab for checking and investing. Any feedback on them? Positive and/or negative
Anyone familiar with Harry Browne or read this book?
Looking to start investing (outside of my current 401k). If you had to pick between a Roth IRA or investing in index funds through a brokerage every month ($200 a paycheck or so) which would you prefer? Just looking for opinions here :)
If I’m above the Roth income limit, can I do back door Roth for my Roth IRA and mega back door Roth for my Roth 401k? And does back door Roth count against contribution limit for mega back door?
would you move back in with your parents if you were fully remote? i earn 90K and am in 24k student loan debt currently paying $1650 in rent. i’m 26f but honestly at this point it’s starting to feel a little silly not to move home and pay $600 in their property tax while i save aggressively. i’m just worried about giving up my independence but it seems a little nonsensical at this point—what would you do in my situation?
23F. Saving a lot of money due to the current environment. I have student loans and a Roth that I contribute 6%. With the extra cash I’ve saved, should I put it towards student loans and investing more in my Roth or should I look towards creating passive income? What do you recommend?
As you all know the market has been on 🔥 lately. I’ve grown my portfolio to 350k and was wondering if I should ride out the market or cash out a chunk and purchase a rental property in Dallas. Is there anyone who has been in a similar situation and would like to share their insight?
Just switched jobs and going to roll over my old 401k account (all pre tax). Financial advisor suggested converting to a Roth now since tax hit won’t be huge and gains will grow tax free. Does anyone agree/ disagree with this position?
