“Tone policing is defined as "a conversational tactic that dismisses the ideas being communicated when they are perceived to be delivered in an angry, frustrated, sad, fearful, or otherwise emotionally charged manner." Managers striving to create a workplace based on equity and inclusion must understand how tone policing silences members of marginalized groups and allows discrimination to persist.” https://www-businessinsider-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.businessinsider.com/how-to-identify-and-help-stop-tone-policing-in-workplace-2020-8?amp

Are you already contributing the appropriate amounts to your retirement accounts and do you have an adequate emergency fund?
If so I'd do $5k to I bonds and $3k to 529 now. Try to accumulate another $5k to potentially top off I bonds between 10/15 and 10/27 after the rate for next six months is announced. If you can save more than that allocate the excess with each paycheck to 529 or brokerage as you feel appropriate.
Thank you! Yes I’m doing 20% to retirement accounts already maxed out 401k so doing megabackdoor roth through rest of year. This is in addition and wasn’t sure about the next best move.

- It depends… How long is a while?
- I-Bonds are at 9.62%…guaranteed
- 529 will likely yield what the market is currently…
- Does it make sense to continue doing ESPP especially if at ~15% discount as most are?
I don’t need the cash for the foreseeable future. So I did get the 15% from ESPPs but in diversifying I sold it at purchase and now need to put the $$ somewhere for best growth.
