Capgemini I joined sometime back at D1 level , I do technical work most of time like coding, dev, testing etc.
I have worked a lot in my 14 years and still have required skills needed for the work. I don't have energy to slog any further. Moreover I get anxiety when I see junior level people doing same work as me and earning more or same.
I feel cannot sit longer hrs due to back issues and other health issues and family commitments.
Can I change to management side without risking my job .

Not sure how one sleeps if this is true.
I am a Principal Solutions Architect with 13 YOE of which 5 years exp is with Biotech focusing on Public Cloud (AWS) & overall AWS exp. 9 years. I need suggestions /opinions if applying for a Senior Solutions Architect (Level6) at AWS makes sense or if I should aim for a Principal SA (level 7) role at AWS with Healthcare & Lifesciences industry experience. If it makes any difference, I worked for AWS ProServe as an external SA in the past. Any insights / feedback appreciated.

don't listen to this guy, plenty of folks with less than 1 yoe making the jump, as long as there is a demand
If you couldn't get into MBB out of undergrad, what's changed now?
If the answer is "nothing, but I have a job at T2", I fail to see why applying now would do you any favors. Your competition are applicants with 1-4 YOE in consulting with T2 or boutiques. What would put you over them?
Answer: you identify why you didn’t get it the first time and fix it
Source: T2->MBB offer after 5 months at T2 straight from undergrad
OP, C1 does make a good point, in a not helpful way. To be even worth applying, you should be able to answer “why did I not get it the first time and what will I do differently this time to get it”. And just working at T2 is not enough
@OP I think some people are missing my larger point so I'll make it here:
Yes MBB is hiring like crazy, just like everyone else. At the same time, tons of people are jumping ship from their consulting firm to MBB. Your competition is fiercer than ever.
I think it'd be more valuable if you spent a year learning some nuts and bolts of consulting, while doing case work prep on the side, then giving it another go.
You haven't spent enough time at your T2 yet to know if you'll like it or not. Why not do that for now?
Of course luck is involved, but to be in contention, you'd need referrals and super strong UG stats to be considered. Do you have those things already?
I am not discouraging you, rather just laying out where things stand.

Lol all right @OP, shoot your shot then.
@BCG1, yes it's a hot time now, but don't tell me a new T2 undergrad hire with <3 months of FT consulting experience would be immediately considered unless they have strong referrals and are coming from a top undergrad. BCG needs more people at C/PL levels anyway--that's where all the attrition is.
We normally prefer no less than a year… but don’t think it’s a solid rule.
Out of curiosity, what is it that you want to do/get at MBB that you can’t do/get at your T2?
I stand corrected
real talk, just look for junior alumni across your firm who jumped recently to mbb, if you are at a half decent firm there will be at least a handful, benchmark against there yoe and reach out to them
