How long should an interns stay at a company?

Household income (2 earners) $350k in NY. Decent homes in the neighborhood we are looking at are for around $1.2-$1.3 (Long Island) which translates to ~$7k monthly (mortgage, property tax, home insurance). Can I afford this expense?

I’m on a super early stage product, we’re in the user research and technical exploration stage but I want to track milestones; MVP defined, PoC released, etc. So product & project roadmap.

The goal is to have something that helps my team track what’s going on and what’s upcoming. A nice side effect would be to have something that’s easily communicable to stakeholders too, but I can make a separate artifact for that.

As I am close to finishing Deep Work, I am thinking about how to apply its strategies in my own work. Deep Work sounds like I can reduce my overall time spent at work by 25-50% because of all the extra gobbly goo that goes on in corporate bloat. Has anyone done that? What are your thoughts on deep work methods in product?

Has anyone noticed that almost all the PM jobs open now are listed as senior PM? Is this because they have too many applicants? Well known companies are hardly posting anything that isn’t senior these days.

I need some advice. My manager (CPO) wants to restructure his team and make everyone the level below him a ‘head of’. When he suggested it to me I immediately pushed back as I don’t feel experienced enough to take that role (I have 3 YOE doing product work within consulting and 1 YOE at the startup I’m working at now). His counter was that I wouldn’t immediately see a change in responsibilities or pay until we secure our series B which is months away….
