Just starting out in big law, when you’re working till later at night (not a 1-2 am because then I’d just knock out, but like 8-10 pm), how do you guys find time to unwind and relax? Staying up later to do it? Or are you pretty much working, eating dinner, then sleeping on rinse and repeat?

Rinse and repeat. Though morning exercise is important. And the Calm app is worth the money.

As an extreme night owl who would literally rather work out at midnight than at 8am I envy this. At midnight I’m often still not able to step away from my desk which I realize is ridiculous, but no one’s expecting me to answer emails at 8am

When I was a junior I would almost always stay up a bit later to give myself time to unwind. Would never skimp on sleep though. That’s how I “survived” year one.

Pouring a tall whiskey or two and watching tv until late. Though when I’m on a responsible streak, yeah, it’s sleep and repeat, no drinks or unwinding. My body appreciates that much more.

I used to just go straight to bed if I was working until 10pm or 11pm, but found that I would not be able to sleep immediately (even with meditation app) or had super low quality sleep. Now I keep an easy book on my bedside (like Harry Potter or one of the twilight books) and read a chapter or two to help unwind. I don’t always have great quality sleep, but it really does help create a separation between work and bed, especially now that it’s become a routine.

What is the salary range for a practice management consultant?

One of my career goals is to work abroad. Tomorrow it’ll become a reality. It will also be my first time to work at a bigger agency so I’m pretty much nervous and excited at the same time. Any advice for my first week?

Any opinions on Vibrate VIB?

I’m about to graduate with a B.S. in healthcare management in the December. I plan on being a part time graduate student pursuing an MBA with a specialization in health administration. What university do you recommend I attend? I’m looking for one that is CAHME accredited, could be in Florida, Georgia, or Texas and offers a lot of scholarships. I’m also concerned about post-graduate life. How/where do I secure a well paying career right after I graduate with my degree?

Have any of you done free social media publicity for authors and publishers but are trying to get a paid job in a field that's monetizeable? I've promoted releases for publishers for free but knowing the publishing industry doesn't pay great (as well as putting in unnecessary hurdles to hinder hires) I'm trying to get into an industry that's in my niche but not too hard (entertainment, Disney, for example). I don't know what to do. Should I start posting movie & TV reviews? I'm seriously lost
