I’m a 28 year old male, living with gf. I think I’ve got covid - very feverish, cough, hot and cold sweats, pains etc. When I get sick I turn into a massive baby - definition of “man flu”. Is this a massive problem for women (ie a big turn off)? Luckily I only get sick once every 2-3 years, but this feels awful and I’m being a massive sook and I can’t help it lol…

I have been WFH ever since Covid hit. Which I love! ( I do miss the social part of it tho). But I feel ever since then, I became SUPER lazy. (Not with my work) I live in NYC. Hello! I am not happy with my current job position. I also just found out that we are pregnant and I feel stuck. My hope would be to move into a remote position but am afraid of the change as well as any annoyance about taking maternity leave from a new manager/ team. Has anyone ever changed jobs while pregnant? Was the team at your new job resentful that you had to take maternity leave so quickly after starting?

Had the craziest experience today at 1st ultrasound. Measured 6w5d (what I should be based on FET) but sonographer told me HR was 87 (low). I was hysterical (had a previous MMC after an initial low HR) and doctor came in and rescanned and said everything looked perfect and HR was 119 BPM! I am trying so hard to take comfort in the second scan but this is so stressful. Please send positive vibes my way 😭😭

I had an amniocentesis performed at 16 weeks and found out today (19.5 weeks) that the chromosome analysis and microarray to test for microdeletions came back normal. Had they not come back normal, I would have aborted. I am distraught that others will not have this choice now that the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade.

I am driving both me and my husband crazy. We both work from home in a 4 bedroom home pretty decent size. My husband wants to do daycare and id prefer a nanny. Thankfully money isn’t the the concern, it’s more he thinks we’ll be distracted and I am nervous about anti-vax people and rise of polio and whooping cough. We went to a daycare we liked but they did they allowed religious exceptions which makes me uncomfortable. Would love to get feedback.

Started wearing a support belt per my doctors recommendation because I’ve been having pelvic pain. Wore it for the first time today and this baby will not stop moving. Now wondering if I’m choking my baby and maybe she doesn’t like this belt? I haven’t felt the pain I normally feel and no back pain this morning but now I’m feeling bad. I don’t want to have comfort if it’s causing discomfort on my baby. Anyone experienced this?

Hi everyone, can I travel to my home country(India) on maternity leave , for visa stamping.

Im wondering if anyone knows what the “rules” are re: being contacted while out on leave. My VP has said she’ll be texting me if she needs anything, and while I don’t want to be unhelpful,I REALLY don’t want to think about work at all while I’m out. Are there any guidelines regarding what is and isn’t ok in this context? Im thinking if it gets to be too much I’ll be very slow to respond and train her to not expect to hear back quickly, and she can find answers for herself. Any insights?
