I got a terrifying mail from the government stating that I owed $2000 which they overpaid during covid. This week was my vacation and was already questioning how I overspent and to top it all off, this dreadful mail! How unlucky could a person be? Should they sent a little earlier, I would've been wise.

I’m in pretty good shape but I haven’t been able to fence for two years because of work. Pretty specific muscles needed. I fenced hard tonight, mostly against teenagers. No, I am not in good shape, especially aerobically. Time for rowing machine and jump rope on the days I’m not fencing (2-3 per week). It will take a couple of months. I’m going to hurt tomorrow. Ugh.

My ex got a puppy in fall of 2020. Due to the nature of the pandemic, I spent almost every day with him and taught him a lot of what he knows. We broke up at the end of 2021 and hang out every now and then but living without that dog is one of the saddest things ever.
