I have a written offer that’s contingent on a background check. I don’t anticipate any hang ups with the check but would like to wait until giving my notice until everything is official. My question is that there’s a set start date on my written offer. Which could leave my current position with under a 2 week notice period. Just got into wharton business school, whatre peoples perception of the school? I feel like my view of the school is heavily skewed because of my research / application process but want peoples honest thoughts who work in corporate America. I grew up homeless so an opportunity like this is unbelievable but not making money for a couple years scares me - so this is a genuine question!

I can’t forget about a guy I met 2 years ago and wanted to date him. We we friendly and had some chemistry, but I was afraid to break the friendship having only known him for like 1 month. Then Covid came, we started losing contact and he moved to the other side of the country. I believe he has a girlfriend now, and I even dated someone for a couple months, but I still can’t get over him.

I have had a strained friendship since I got sick last year. Instead of compassion she acted like I wasn’t prioritizing her while I recovered. It was weird to have to expel so much energy for friend but she doesn’t have any family relationships. A few weeks ago she got mad that I didn’t text her during the day and hasn’t spoken to me since. I reached out once but am not going to try anymore. I feel relived and like I was in a toxic relationship.
