Just wanted to tell y'all that it's possible. In August I celebrated my 2 year anniversary as an office admin. Prior to this, I had spent 10 years working at various hotels as a front office clerk (read horrible schedule, minimal benefits and a near abusive work environment)
I now have the things I wanted, been trained further and I am looking forward to what I can do next. My future seems brighter and I want that so much for others. Please keep pushing and trust that you can!

I work in a hotel too and hear you loud and clear. Good on you :))!!

If you're a front office manager then my hat is off to you. I've had good ones as well as not so great managers in my hotel days but either way, all of them were caught in the middle between Their managers and their team. Not to mention the guest complaints... It's not an easy position at all.
But you have strong skills from it - conflict resolution, prioritizing, scheduling and (I hope you don't mind me saying) knowing when to not give a F.
Those skills translate to a lot and you can make the pivot!

Im seeing some people say lift 6x a week and some say you need recovery days

Is RPA sales engineering a good career pivot now? Have been in Cloud SE for 5 years and it is getting mundane. Forget about the Data and AI, realistically majority of the work is around VM migration + RFP + Pricing + pushing commit 2x more than customer's current need, instead of really adding technical and business value to the customer.

RPA seems to be on the rise, there are certainly risk but the value + technology seems to be closer to reality. Love to hear more.
