I work in accounting for an insurance brokerage firm. I put in my 2 weeks notice today and was told by my manager that they may ask me to not work the next 2 weeks (with pay) since I’m going to a competitor. Has anyone ever experienced this? Is this the norm?

How good Medpace as a company in healthcare and medical services?

I had 3rd round discussion yesterday and all went good. They finally asked about my np and saying that HR will get back to you soon. If you have any query, then can ask HR. But HR is from Singapore and only communication is possible via email.

Can anybody highlight on this company?

Pretty fun to see the change. When we first took him in. They said he doesn't play with toys...3 weeks later oh yes he does. He just needed to find his dog groove and had to be told its ok to play.

Hi fellow dog lovers - Sorry to bring up this topic🙈 but just realized I have no idea how to handle the inevitable. My fur baby is 16 yrs old (small breed) and in great health but is noticeably aging. I am thinking ahead even though I don't want to. Is there any unique way to bury a pet? I have never had a pet this long or had one pass so I am not sure what I would do. I was thinking of burying in the back yard but I know we may move in the next year or so. How have you lovingly said goodbye?
