Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.

Yep, same issues in NJ.
Just had an appearance that was supposed to be just a conference and the court tried to tell me that I need to be ready for trial in six days, after no appearances on this case in a year and a half. I had to beg for a 2022 date. It’s arbitrary AF. NYC litigator
Chicago checking in. Same.
Courts are definitely impacted but I feel the opposite, our cases have all been pushed by stip and courts don’t care. They don’t want it on their calendar. I’m in Southern California.
Yep! We’re a small firm so we have cases all over CA. We have never had a problem moving any court date both civil and crim 🤷🏽♀️
Good luck getting a dispositive motion hearing in Wayne County, Michigan.
Despite every Courtroom having Zoom, it seems as if judges are still mostly WFH.
I practice in 3 states (KY, OH, and IN) and every single calendar is Apocalypse Now. Most judges are taking us to the eve of trial and then telling us "haha jk I've had a guy in custody since 2019 and he's not going to plead after all! You're continued." On the bright side, it's giving us some extra ammo to get cases mediated. That is, when we can get in with a mediator, as virtually all of them are booked solid six months out...for similar reasons.
