I’ve been working as a mortgage professional for over 3 years now and have found it unfulfilling and draining, even with the industry where it’s currently at. Interviewing for a mid-level producer role in-house at an established/well known tech company, NY office. I’ve only ever been agency-side so really have no idea what to give as my salary expectations. 5 years experience, currently at 100k. Benefits are comparable (except now I’ll get equity). But I hear that at both brand-side and tech you can expect higher. If I asked for 140k would I be laughed out of the room?
