Is it rude to ask my team to let me know in advance of anything they need from me over the holidays, when I let them know the hours I’ll be traveling? I’m a third year associate, and my impression is that I have a good reputation (always requested for staffing, 2,300 hours, etc). I only see my family 2x a year. My deals are chill, but my team has an annoying habit of assigning things last minute/weekends, for matters I’m not on. I always do it, but it’s getting irritating when it’s a holiday.
Honestly I take a nap if I can.

It's pretty bright. I have a desk lamp in front of it to make it a little less direct.

Walk! I have a walking pad and it helps so much during times like that. Otherwise I’ll drink water, or just suck it up and bill with half a brain
Caffeine, nicotine and self-hatred
In reality I make every effort to get outside and do some physical activity in the sun at least once every weekend. Makes a huge difference in my mood and energy during the week. Lately I’ve been skiing, fishing and hiking.
