As a Pete supporter in the primary, I hate the far left
Rising Star
Twitter-left doesn’t represent the actual left in the country. They think they do and so they live in a bubble where they feel empowered.
People who are the extreme are always the most vocal and get the most attention. Hundreds of thousands of people isn’t a ton when you are talking about $320+ million people in the US. Also, many of those interactions aren’t always supportive. People share opposing views all the time in order to argue against them.
If you don’t see it much on the right it is because the more extreme alt right has become more mainstream in the party. Traditional Republicans (e.g., Romney, Bush, etc.) don’t really have much of a voice anymore. Democrats didn’t elect the far left as a nominee, they elected a moderate. Therefore, you’ll see more vocal opposition from the far left.
Traditional republicans may be, but there are a ton of Trump supporters out there. I have family members that think he is the best thing that happened to America. I’m actually concerned he’s going to win again. Those of us living in cities are living in a bubble. We know corporate conservatives that are fed up with Trump, but corporate conservatives aren’t the mainstream of the party anymore. Really hope I’m wrong.
They’re Bernie bros who can’t stand the moderate wing of the party. Until America is fully socialist they will not be satisfied.

Well, let's be honest, some of those on both sides are bots or people hired to astroturf and divide.
So grain of salt.
In some cases, yes, Bernie bros.
In other cars, just people with personal principles holding others to those equally. It's unfair to hold the right to things you don't hold the left to. I know it gets called "eating their own," but it's just accountability.
I do think people expect too much from politicians, though. They represent the country, not each individual individually.
I agree with you. They do- and I know this is anecdotal, but I can count a handful of people I know who attack on Twitter but have never volunteered to make a difference in their community. I’d bet you there are more of those outside of my circle. I wish it weren’t that way
