How’s crispin right now?
Any Slack SEs here? I’m in conversation with a Slack recruiter for an SE role. Curious how competitive the market is with Microsoft basically offering MS Teams for free and the pandemic starting to wind down. I see most cool startups have Slack and bigger enterprises have been getting swooped up by MS Teams because of cheaper pricing and not needing to buy Zoom. I personally like Slack more but how are current market conditions and how are y’all feeling? Slack Salesforce

Some clients require it (very common in pharma).
Drugs tests would result in turnover . . . don't think the partners want that 😀

I think we’d been okay. I’d worry about my friends over at DT if they had to take one though…
KPMG has it as a policy that employees will never be required to take a drug test.
If your client requires one, you can decline no questions asked and they will reassign you.
When I was at PwC I had a client that required a drug test, but the testing location was 30 minutes away and my SM wouldn't allow me to do it during company time and wanted me to do it on the weekend... so I just refused to do it and the client put me on a list of people not in compliance and sent it to the firm (with me cc:ed), but that wasn't until there was a week or two left and fieldwork was done so I just ignored it. Nobody ever followed up with me. Idk. I don't do drugs.
