Oh, come now…our EA “leader” is the most honest, most sincere, most trustworthy person in the entire universe! When she puts fingertips to keyboard and sends us an email, not only do I believe EVERY LAST WORD she types (since she has never been untruthful or contradicted herself in the past), I feel so grateful that she’d even take the time to send an email to someone as lowly and unworthy as me. If i knew her bank account number, i’d give her half of my paycheck simply because i feel so honored to be under her employ. I’m sure all of you would love to do the same.
She has more integrity in her pinky finger than the rest of us EA peasants across all Big Four’s combined. She is so wonderful and if everyone cared as she does, and she truly does care…this world would be a much better place.

Were you ever a stripper? that might have helped! Rumor has it, they staffed the Las Vegas EASC with strippers out of work due to covid closures.
Again, rumor, but i believe it!!

I'm hearing of quite a few companies who originally told people they would be fully remote, and now are pulling back on that as more people are going back into the office. I cautioned a friend on this when she was looking for only fully remote roles. It's frustrating.
I guess realistically - if you are an EA and you're supporting someone who will be in the office and needs onsite support when he/she is there - it doesn't really surprise me. But I get that the "bait and switch" is becoming more common and wish people would just be honest upfront.
No bait and switch. This was an outright lie and not the first.
Initially did you really believed all that??
When did the email come out? I hope it wasn't sent on a Friday
Of course it was, that’s always their MO.
Nah. 100% remote is almost an impossible thing. I might have believed them if they said hybrid.
